Restorative Yin Yoga & Breathing

NEW – Mini 2-hour Workshop on Sunday 7 April from 4-6pm in Witherlea, Blenheim (limited spaces)

This relaxed workshop is offered at the perfect time to wind down from your week and week-end and prepare yourself mentally and physically for the week ahead.

The class will combine long Yin Yoga holds without muscle tension to improve flexibility and allow your body and mind to relax deeply, with mindful gentle breathing and relaxation practices to bring your focus inwards and onto the present moment. In this space your body can release deeply held stress and tension sending a message to the brain that you are safe and in control.

As the nervous system is calmed the relaxation response is activated. Prana (life) is able to flow more freely enhancing vitality, healing, and a sense of calm and equanimity.

This is special time to care for and connect with yourself as you let go of expectations and enjoy time to just ‘be’.

Limited spaces are available to join in a small and cosy group environment. This class is also suitable for those who may find regular yoga classes inaccessible for a variety of reasons.
